Matt has been doing CrossFit since 2008 when he was active in the United States Army’s 82nd Airborne Division as an Infantry soldier. He was quick to catch onto CrossFit because he saw its effectiveness in training soldiers to push their limits at any given moment, the camaraderie that grew between his men, and most importantly, its effectiveness to get/keep soldiers in peak physical condition.
After being released from active duty he has been aggressively learning Exercise Science and Kinesiology to better him as an athlete and coach. He constantly keeps the gym members on their toes with new moves and odd rep schemes they could never imagine!
